Abstract

On December 27, at the construction site of the No. 9 standard section of the first phase of the Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27, rescue personnel from China State Construction Fifth Engineering Division are conducting toxic and harmful gas detection at the site of the tunnel collapse.

On December 27, at the construction site of the No. 9 bid section of the first phase of the Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27, rescue personnel from China State Construction Engineering Corporation are conducting toxic gas detection at the site of the tunnel collapse.

On the same day, an emergency rescue drill for the tunnel collapse of the Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27 was held at the construction site of the No. 9 bid section of the first phase. This drill was organized by Chongqing Railway (Group) Co., Ltd., and co-organized by the general contracting department of the China State Construction Engineering Corporation's consortium for the first phase of the Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27.

The drill adopted a combination of "real-time + real scene + real combat" mode, including reporting the danger of the tunnel collapse accident, activating the emergency plan, initial response, on-site rescue, and medical assistance, covering all aspects of emergency rescue and disposal of accidents. The entire drill process was well-organized, with a tight rhythm, rich content, and efficient handling, demonstrating strong practical applicability and guidance.

On December 27, at the construction site of the No. 9 bid section of the first phase of the Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27, technical personnel from China State Construction Engineering Corporation are surveying the site of the tunnel collapse.

The purpose of this drill activity is to improve the project's ability to respond to sudden major accidents such as tunnel collapses, ensuring that rescue work can be carried out in an orderly manner when accidents occur, effectively controlling and handling the accidents, and ensuring that self-rescue measures are in place. At the same time, it familiarizes frontline employees with the emergency plan, enhances the collaboration of command and rescue personnel at all levels, and improves the ability to respond to emergencies, thereby strengthening a unified command, complete organization, full functionality, quick response, and strong support emergency management system.

The Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27 is 56 kilometers long, starting from Bishan Station in Bishan District in the west and ending at Huimin Station in Banan District in the east. It crosses the three major troughs of the Chongqing main urban area in an east-west direction, with a designed speed of 140 kilometers per hour. It connects important gateway hubs in Chongqing in the form of a fast line, and once completed, it will greatly alleviate the east-west passenger flow pressure on the Chongqing rail network and enhance the convenience of citizens' travel.
